It seems like the intensity of the lazer hair removal treatment is much less effective than at the Fountain Spa. Although I underwent regular treatment for my lower legs, which have very little hair to start off with, one year later I am still shaving daily. Unfortunately the staff was unable to adress my concern, although it was brought to their attention starting the second half of the year.

I had an afternoon appointment, and I was taken right away, that is great! This was my first time with Dana and was a little nervous switching technicians (my schedule changed), but she was wonderful! I am doing the whole body laser, and Dana is very kind and professional and helped me feel at ease while still doing a thorough job. Thanks Dana!

The laser specialist I had this time was much more thorough than the last person. One thing I would change at Skin Matters is the--essentially---obligatory gratuity that was guilted out of me RIGHT outside the treatment rooms. If the service is exceptional, then the tip should come from the customer`s heart, not be eeked out by the receptionist. It made me feel very awkward, after all, I was only in the patient room for about 90 seconds, and I felt like I couldn`t say no to the gratuity--especially with the other people around in the waiting room.

I have been going to Skin Matters for a few years. Their service has gotten better every time. This visit I had Carol as a technician and she was a pleasure. I highly recommend this business, and if you can, schedule with Carol or Beth.

This was my 2nd visit to SM2. On my first review, I rated the service as average. The technician then was very personable, but I was very surprised at how quick the laser treatment went...almost seemed rushed. So, I was skeptical on how the results would turn out. To my surprise, I had some of my best results when compared to previous treatments at other facilities. During my latest visit, the technician asked how everything went with the previous treatment, and I provided her the above feedback. She seemed more attentive to ensure every area was hit. Still wish they were not as rushed to complete the process. Hope to see similar results with the latest treatment.

I was on time for the appointment that I conveniently made on line and confirmed upon request. I signed in, was checked in, told someone would be right with me and subsequently sat there for 30 minutes for what resulted in a 3 minute procedure. Only after another woman, who came in after me asked to have her appointment rescheduled because she had been waiting for 15 minutes, and was immediately placed into a room was I finally noticed again. I appreciated them getting me back once the other woman complained but I obviously would`ve preferred for it never to have happened, not sure what was going on. Next time I won`t wait so patiently.
